FAQ-No sound available on online/CD-ROM CBTs |
| On several occassions we have been notified
that there have been problems trying to hear the online or CD-ROM based computer based
training material on the lab PC workstations. The solution to the problem is to adjust the settings of the Volume Control utility, which is located under the Start | Programs | Accessories | Multimedia menu. Make sure the slide bars for each control are at least half way up the scale and that the Mute All option is NOT enabled. If a lab user makes changes to these settings the changes are enabled for the next user. At this time resetting the workstation does not set these settings back to default. |
